Based on connection methods and functional differences, scaffold couplers are mainly divided into three basic types: right-angle couplers, swivel couplers, and sleeve couplers . Right-angle couplers are used to connect two steel tubes vertically, bearing main node loads; swivel couplers are suitable for connections between diagonal braces and horizontal rails, with adjustable angles; sleeve couplers are used for axial extension of steel tubes . Additionally, specialized anti-slip couplers are available based on anti-slip requirements . Couplers are typically manufactured from malleable iron or cast steel, achieving tube connections through bolt fastening .
